Laser Resurfacing
Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is a clinically proven procedure that uses concentrated light energy to precisely target imperfections in the skin. The laser creates controlled micro-injuries that trigger your body’s natural healing process. This encourages the growth of new collagen and elastin resulting in healthier younger looking skin.
Laser resurfacing treats:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage and age spots
- Uneven tone and texture
- Lax and crepey skin
- Enlarged pores
- Acne scars or surgical scars
HALO
The halo fits in beautifully into busy lifestyles and delivers dramatic results with minimal downtime. This laser precisely targets skin damage at multiple depths. Most clients experience redness for 2-3 days followed by light flaking. You will begin to notice the halo glow within one week!
MicroLaser Peel
This is a light to medium laser treatment designed to gently remove a very thin layer of dull, damaged skin called the epidermis. The depth of the laser treatment can be customized to address your skin care concerns. Downtime varies depending on the depth of the treatment.
Contour TRL
Contour TRL is our most advanced laser, ideal for treating advanced sun damage. This deep resurfacing procedure removes the outer layers of damaged skin improving the texture, tone and fine lines. Contour TRL also provides thermal stimulation (heat) to the deeper layers of the skin to create new collagen and elastin. Because of the advanced nature of this laser, only Dr. Cappuccino administers this procedure. Downtime can be up to 2 weeks but you will see dramatic results.

Asked Questions
For the best outcome we recommend starting our medical grade skincare line 30 days before your treatment. About 5-7 days before your treatment stop all retinol or Retin-A, glycolic, salicylic acid and AHA/BHA products. Stop all blood thinning supplements (like fish oil) to reduce bruising.
The level of sensation depends on the type of laser being used. We always take steps to keep you relaxed and pain free. A topical numbing cream is applied 1 hour before the HALO or MicroLaser Peel. The TRL is a stronger laser requiring medical grade numbing cream and prescription medication.
Patients typically require 1-3 sessions, depending on the depth of wrinkles, scars and texture issues.
After HALO or MicroLaser Peel your skin will be red and swollen for 2-3 days, followed by light peeling. Contour TRL is an ablative laser which removes significant amounts of the skin’s surface resulting in longer recovery.
Your remarkable results can last for years but are not permanent. These treatments stimulate your skin’s natural collagen and elastin production, which improves texture, tone, and firmness over time. However, the skin continues to age, and factors like sun exposure, stress and lifestyle gradually break down collagen as we age.
