The treatment starts with assessing your scalp health, hair loss pattern, medical history and identifying what is causing your hair to thin. Once your evaluation is completed, the clinician will select the treatment option best suited for your specific type of hair loss.

LASERCAP

LASERCAP is a device that utilizes low-level laser therapy (LLLT). LLLT uses laser light to boost and renew cellular function in the hair follicles, using red light waves to trigger healthy hair growth.

LASERCAP is a simple, painless procedure that can be performed at home. The Laser Cap device fits over your head, and the red light beams pass over the scalp. The treatment lasts about 30 minutes.

Continuing treatments are required to produce lasting results. It will take approximately two months to achieve your initial results which will continue to improve over the following months. This treatment works best on men or women in the early stages of hair loss who have noticed their hair is getting thinner and weaker. LASERCAP works well on its own, but it is usually combined with other therapies.

Microneedling with PRP

The treatment involves withdrawing a sample of your own blood, processing it so only the PRP growth factors remain. The PRP is injected into the scalp to stimulate natural hair growth. The entire procedure takes approximately 45 minutes. Three sessions are required, spaced 1 month apart. A maintenance treatment is recommended every 6 months or one year, as needed.

NeoGraft

The NeoGraft system is the first and only FDA-cleared hair transplant system on the market. Using the NeoGraft device, hair follicles are smoothly extracted from the scalp and placed into balding and thinning areas one follicle at a time. In 6 to 12 months 95% of the hair follicles will resume growth resulting in thicker fuller hair. Dr. Cappuccino recommends Microneedling with PRP during and after the procedure to help minimize hair shock loss. Hair transplant results are typically permanent because the follicles are taken from areas that are not affected by pattern hair loss.
